Date Night

Aaron and I try to go on a date night at least once a week. Friday night is usually the designated night. With Aaron so busy with classes and work we have become a little lax with our date nights. We end up just relaxing at home. This Friday was a little different. We were going to go bowling but after a brief debate with our hungry stomachs, we decided to spend our date money on Cafe' Rio. We LOVE Cafe' Rio! Aaron scarfed his meal down in a matter of 2.5 seconds and so he was left, as usual, to watch me finish me meal. After dinner, we didn't know what to do. The free BYU museums were closed and we didn't want to go home. We ended up driving around all night and wound up in Park City! We found a quiet little coffee shop and sat and enjoyed hot apple cider. The long drive gave us time to talk and just catch up. It was nice to reconnect and it actually felt like we were dating again. Needless to say, I think date night is extremely important for married couples regardless if they have been married 7 months or 50 years. Date night should always be a priority!
